The senior ministry of First Wesleyan Church was formed under the leadership of Pastor Doug Beadle. The members of the senior committee are
Karen Grigg, Bruce Hamilton, Pat Moore, Sharon Pigford and Vera Talbert.
The seniors meet the 4th Tuesday of April, July, October and December. We have a meal and some form of Christian entertainment.
The 3rd Sunday in August has been designated as Senior Appreciation Day. We try to have a retired Wesleyan Minister to preach and also have special music for that day, followed by a catered meal in the Pruesz Center.
I try to mail birthday cards for each seniors birthday.
